For years, Aesthetics Today has been an online beacon for those seeking the latest in beauty trends, aesthetic treatments, and high-tech skincare. We attract the industry’s finest with our trending, informative content and we’re always looking for new ways to better serve our fanbase.
This is why two years ago we took things to the next level and launched our Aesthetics Today Podcast. This development was in response to the growing importance of podcasts and their role in providing vital, industry-related information.
Simply, we wanted to add more zing to our site and the industry stepped up and helped us to do just this.
When I was growing up, we used to play the radio on the way to and from school. Listening to the talk shows on the radio as a backdrop while my parents took me to school, gave me an intriguing, informed perspective of the world.
With ‘voice only’ shows, each word spoken is highlighted as there are no visuals to distract you. Lack of visuals also means the presenters have to be quick-witted and interesting to keep audiences engaged.
When podcasts made their grand appearance online, I saw these as unique ‘talk shows’ in that they became the new medium for informing and entertaining, using just words. The unique voice-only interviews and presentations offer tidbits of information which oftentimes aren’t available anywhere else.
If you haven’t cottoned on to this trend yet, I’m here to encourage you to join our fanbase and ‘lend us your ear’, so to speak. There’s a lot in store for you in the coming months!
For the Aesthetics Today Podcast, we have sought only top speakers and beauty and aesthetics experts, who have something valuable to add to the lives of listeners and with industry professionals. They have never disappointed.
If you missed out on what we have broadcast these past 24 months, here are some of our most memorable podcast moments:

1. A Non-Surgical Facelift That Lasts For 16 Months With Kim Laudati
In this episode, New York pioneer Kim Laudati, founder of iT Intelligent Treatment LLC, shared her remarkable journey from battling hormonal acne and rosacea to developing Somacell. This is a groundbreaking non-surgical facelift technique.
The conversation highlighted the importance of hormonal balance in skin health and the lasting skin solutions provided by modern aesthetics, through which science and beauty come together..
2. Redefining the Aesthetic Experience: Flavio Refrigeri And Fiore Aesthetics
Here, Flavio Refrigeri of Fiore Aesthetics reflected on his unconventional path into the aesthetics field. He started out as a paramedic in Italy before moving to England and training under Dr Rob Shan.

3. Lip Care Extraordinaire With Monika Heiligmann
What I personally love about the Aesthetics Today Podcast is that no subject is left out! We have also shone a spotlight on entrepreneurs who are currently redefining beauty. One of these was Monika Heiligmann, founder of Monika Heiligmann Lip Care Atelier. She shared how she is transforming luxury lip care.
Her brand fuses science and culture to create products which boost natural collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin have become buzzwords in the industry and her sentiments attracted the interest of a multitude of listeners.
By highlighting the often-overlooked aspect of lip health, Monika challenged the industry to think differently about beauty and authenticity.
4. Anthea Turner & Dr Andrew Weber on Bodyvie’s Aesthetic Evolution

Here are some quirky facts about global beauty and aesthetics podcasts to keep you expectant:
Global treatments at your fingertips
Listeners often hear about unusual or faraway treatments (like fire facials in China or snail facials in Korea) months or even years before they trend in the West, thanks to curious podcast hosts digging into global beauty cultures.
Celebrity secrets revealed off-camera
Some beauty podcasts have become places where celebrities share more candid beauty confessions, like their guilty-pleasure products or DIY hacks, they might not mention in glossy magazine interviews.
The ‘commuter facial’
Beauty podcasts are often listened to while commuting or working out. Listeners joke they’re ‘getting a facial for the brain’ while stuck in traffic, learning about Botox, fillers, or new laser tech.
