Why Embracing Moxi Is One Step Towards Keeping Up With The Kardashians

Trending (But Gentle) Laser Treatment Holds Attention Of Hollywood’s Elite

Moxi might have an unassuming name. However, if celebrity raves are anything to go by, it’s a big deal. The laser treatment has been called ‘Baby Halo’. This is because it is, as reports have called it, the ‘little sister’ of the celebrated HALO laser. The HALO laser is a powerful and intense treatment which combines ablative and non-ablative wavelengths for dramatic resurfacing.

Moxi has been punted by trending celebs, among them Kim Kardashian, who wrote of it on her social media pages: “This is not a paid ad. I just really love the results.”

She’s not the only Kardashian to favour it. Khloé Kardashian is reportedly a fan too. Other A-list stars, among them Jennifer Aniston and Hailey Bieber, also love the laser treatment, which they say keeps their skin glowing for long days on the set.

While you and I may not be Hollywood stars, we can also relate to long days which leave our skin looking dull and tired. The Moxi treatments seems to be one of the ways the beauty industry is seeking to answer these skincare concerns

Moxi was originally developed by Sciton. It is a fractional 1927nm thulium laser and it has been developed for the purpose of fighting the early signs of ageing. These include fine lines, sun spots, pigmentation, and dull texture.

What makes Moxi unique is that it is without the downtime of more aggressive lasers. This is because, unlike traditional ablative treatments, which remove skin layers, Moxi works beneath the surface. Its deep and effective work stimulates collagen and encourages cell renewal through controlled micro-injuries.

The Kardashians are among those who have praised it for its impact in creating fresher, brighter, ‘glass-like’ skin. What’s more, it does so quickly. It might be the little sister of HALO but it’s certainly not the lesser sister!

    Fast-Working And Effective

The appeal of Moxi is obvious. A single session takes just 15 to 30 minutes. Patients often describe the sensation as a mild warming or tingling. This means that the pain is nothing unbearable. Redness and sandpapery texture follow, but only briefly, according to professional reports.

Recovery time is also optimal. Make-up can usually be worn the very next day. Within a week, the skin looks smoother, clearer, and rejuvenated.

Unlike HALO, Moxi is designed for maintenance and prevention. These features have earned it the title of a ‘prejuvenation powerhouse.’ It’s ideal for younger patients starting to notice the early signs of ageing or anyone who wants to maintain a radiant, youthful look without major downtime.

Real Results Without A Recovery Period

In addition to the acclaim it has received from celebrities, Moxi also seems to be the sweetheart of experts in the industry. Dr Lee Garrett, a leading UK aesthetic doctor, has praised Moxi for giving “real results without a recovery period.”

The hype created over it on social media, and the good reputation it has garnered in recent months as a result of celebrity hearsay, have resulted in a surge of demand for the treatment in recent months. Dermatology clinics around the world are reporting an influx of clients wanting Moxi treatments. Studies have also shown that online interest in Moxi rose by 900 percent just two years after its launch in 2020.

The unassuming but powerful treatment is now featured in everything from Good Housekeeping’s beauty awards to backstage prep routines at major awards shows.

Moxi is also an inclusive product, which means it can be used for all skin tones. This is because its wavelength targets water and not pigment. It’s also a laser treatment which can be used year-round. This means that it can also be used to successfully treat those prone to melasma. It is designed to minimise heat build-up and inflammation.

In terms of treatment plans, most providers recommend a course of three to four sessions spaced about a month apart. This must then be followed by quarterly maintenance. The treatment’s intensity levels vary according to your desired goals and unique concerns.

So it seems that Moxi is all that, if keeping up with the Kardashians is something you aspire to. And even if not, you will love it for its gentleness and the quick lift it gives to your skin. The word that has been used synonymous with the treatment is ‘glow-getter’, and this is definitely something we all aspire to. It doesn’t matter who you are and what season of your life you are in, there is no-one who could not benefit from a healthy glow.

HALO might hold a place on the red carpet. However, Moxi has made its debut and it looks like it’s here to stay in the spotlight for the moment. So if you’re looking for your own spotlight moment, without all of the fuss and recovery time that many treatments require, why not try this little number.
