- No testing has been performed on animals at any stage during production.
- Their suppliers don’t test products or ingredients on animals.
- Third parties don’t test products on animals on their behalf.
- Their products aren’t sold in mainland China.
Urban Decay
Committed to ‘ending animal testing’ Urban Decay is PETA-certified and suitable for vegans. With the natural look dominating at the moment, it’s worth checking out their Naked Palettes, which they say ‘prove that neutrals are anything but boring’.
Stila
U.K-based Stila have been around for over two decades now and claim their products last ‘from morning to moonlight’. You can find their products in shops like Seophora and Ulta.
Smashbox
Since cutting ties with mainland China, Smashbox have become cruelty-free, though their parent company are. Check out their website ASAP, as they’re currently offering 15% off for newcomers.
Becca
Whilst Becca was acquired by Estee Lauder back in 2016, they have remained cruelty-free and haven’t entered the Chinese market. Best known, for their highlighters and bronzers, Becca are quality-orientated and also specialize in primers and blushers.
Illamasqua
Both Illamasqua and their parent company are cruelty-free and are all about expression through make-up. Whilst you can choose from bold pigments and colours, they also have products suited to more natural looks. Check out their website to get 20% off on your first order.

Brand new to Sephora, Milk Makeup are designed for those who don’t like to spend long on their makeup routine and prefer the natural look. Josie Maran preach clean beauty but with no compromise on feeling luxurious. One of the main ingredients across many of their face, lip and cheek products is fair-trade argan oil, known for being a stand-out skincare elixir.

I really like the idea of more and more brands creating cruelty-free products. My sister has a lot of the urban decay collection and they’re such great products, especially the foundations!
